The Red Bulls’ coaching search has had more twists and turns than the story of Manti Te’o and Lennay Kekua. There have seemingly been more questions than answers, like why did Paulo Sousa do an abrupt about-face, and with Mike Petke in his first head coaching gig, who’ll be his much-needed assistants?
The answers are visa woes, and possibly Robin Fraser, sources told the Post.
First things first. Sousa had actually agreed to take the Red Bulls’ head coaching job, but the Portuguese manager was not granted a work permit. That threw the coaching search into chaos — ok, even deeper into chaos — because of the timing.
