He did it again.
Warriors rookie forward Harrison Barnes threw down his second “Dunk of the Year” candidate this season, posterizing Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova on Saturday.
With the score tied at 11 with a little less than seven minutes remaining in the first quarter, Stephen Curry drove to the baseline, swinging out a pass to Barnes in the right corner. Barnes took two dribbles to attack the paint before rising high to finish over Ilyasova with the right-handed flush. The always joyous Warriors bench predictably went nuts in celebration.
Here’s a great floor angle of the dunk from the Warriors.
Earlier this year, Barnes dunked hard over Nikola Pekovic in similar fashion.
Some of this season’s other great dunks: Nick Young on Larry Sanders, Kevin Durant over Marcin Gortat, Gerald Henderson over Dwight Howard, Byron Mullens over LaMarcus Aldridge, and Jeff Green over Al Jefferson.
