Shonn Greene could be a popular target on the free agent market this spring. The New York Jets are hoping to sign a smaller, quicker back so they will likely let Greene walk and early indications are that both the Atlanta Falcons and Denver Broncos could make a run at him. “Spies say Greene, coming off an underwhelming 1,000-yard season, is expected to draw interest from the Falcons and Broncos.” Both teams need a running back, the Falcons to team with Jacquizz Rodgers and the Broncos to be their No. 1 back.
